Dr. Iulia Pittman holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition and is a professor of German and Linguistics at Auburn University in the United States. She is the editor and contributing author of Raising Children Bilingually in the United States and has published extensively on heritage language maintenance. Her expertise has been featured in newspaper interviews and podcasts focused on multilingualism and bilingual parenting.​
Dr. Pittman is deeply passionate about languages and dedicated to supporting individuals and families on their path to multilingualism. Her consulting work is grounded in both extensive academic knowledge and real-life experience — as someone who grew up bilingually herself and as the parent of three English–Hungarian bilingual children.​
